Hope Is Not a Policy

When I said that I wanted to hear more from surge proponents about what the U.S. should do politically in Iraq, this wasn't what I had in mind.

Back in '03 a clever humorist said 'YEEEEHAWWW is not a foreign policy'. Unfortunately, turns out it WAS our foreign policy. So 'hope' is the policy after 'stupid'.

As in I "hope" we won't elect another stupid (no need for ironic quotation marks there) president.
