Matt Yglesias asks, "Why Tuesday?"
Turns out a good friend of mine worked on a related project a short while back called, appropriately enough, Why Tuesday?

Instead, if we vote on Friday, the Muslims won't vote. This'll remove them as a political force. Oh, well, maybe not. I' imagine what the Dems would then do is to have us allow them to vote on Saturday, but only them, so they can do their civic duty. After all, we're allowing more and more exceptions for them we don't give others. Like provide excuses when they kill people opposed to their view of religion. As for voting by mail - the studies done in California showed more than double the fraud, then they tried to bury the results. This was about 3 years ago.

Ross, thanks for getting the word out about this important issue! At Why Tuesday? we're trying to help fix our broken voting system, one question at a time.
