Brownback Hearts McCain

07 Nov 2007 09:38 am

Damn. Back when everybody was speculating about the crucial (okay, not really) Brownback primary, I half-wrote a post making the case that he should endorse McCain - on Ponnuru/O'Beirne grounds, as well as some others - and then never finished it. And now he goes and does it. The moral: Always finish your blog posts. (A profound life lesson, I know.)

Anyway, good for him for not endorsing Giuliani, unlike some embarrassments I can think of.

Over on Andrew's blog, we discover the following:

"Waterboarding is something of which every American should be proud," - Deroy Murdock, National Review.

Once more: Ross, you're the best young conservative writer out there. Please stand up and condemn torture's conservative defenders. No more posts about the horserace, no more posts whining about atheists who don't take theists seriously, no more posts about movies and pop culture.

The political movement of which you are a de facto representative is lurching towards right-wing extremism. Don't you have anything to say about this?

Seriously. Do Robertson & Co. have ANY credibility left??

Seriously. Do Robertson & Co. have ANY credibility left??

Among thousands and thousands of conservative right-wing voters, yes they sure do!
