We as americans should be so lucky as to get Mitt Romney for our president, anyone that withstands all of the negative attacks from both the left and right and still have a positive vision of our future,needs to be our president.
Sure: sometimes people get attacked from both sides because they laudably buck the status quo.
But just as often, they get attacked from both sides because there's a heck of a lot worth attacking, and they are so inept that they just piss everyone off for no good reason. You sure Romney is the former and not the latter?
Compromise, rather than absolutism, has been the watchword of anti-abortion efforts for some time now. But the pro-life movement can't give up on overturning Roe without giving up on its very reason for being.
