The Inevitability of Obama

25 Jan 2008 10:29 am

Reihan does my earlier post on how Obama might win by losing one better:

Like Ross, I think Obama has a bright future. I also think that he will probably be our next Democratic president whether or not he wins he nomination this year.

Meanwhile, I'm getting the sense that my co-author really doesn't like Hillary Clinton.

What we've seen in Iowa and NH is that the popularity of the Clinton brand is very volatile. It can swing lower a lot farther and faster than any other major candidates, so shat happens in November will be determined by whether they happen to be on an upswing or downswing at the moment.

"Meanwhile, I'm getting the sense that my co-author really doesn't like Hillary Clinton."

To be fair, he's hardly alone. I can't even look at Sully's blog anymore for all the frothing at the mouth...

I have to say that one of the things I like most about your blog Ross is that you DON'T seem to have an uncontrollable, visceral, personal hatred of Hillary Clinton--even though you're conservative and presumably don't agree with her much.
