The Wire's creator has his say, at length.
(Also, he'll be on NPR's Talk of the Nation, along with Ed Burns, at 3 PM today, if you feel like calling in and grilling him.)

Elvis, What terribly unimportant and uninteresting questions! What's really important, and what deserves a half a day's writing, is how horrible a job an intern at Media Matters must have.

Hi Ross,
Do you have any non-horserace-related views on the presidential election? Who would you like to see win, and why? What do you think about the Iraq occupation-- has it gone well, was the surge successful, how long should we be planning to stay and why? Do you think that the president's views on the Protect America Act make sense? Why or why not?
Just a few suggestions. Thanks for reading, be interested to hear your thoughts.
