The truly sad thing is that this brings Fox a teensy-weensy closer bit close to... something useful and not-so-despicable. It's not that Huckabee is so great, it's that he doesn't seem to be a complete bag of shit, unlike just about everyone else employed by this fucking cancer of a network.
Then again, if the Manson girls were paroled and given jobs by Fox that would also improve it, so let's not have any of you conservatives get too excited. (And I think they SHOULD be paroled.)
Actually, Huckabee's not much of a Confed other than for his support of their flag. His pushed for integrating his congregation, acted as an apologist for Rev. Wright, and received a relatively high vote from African-Americans in Arkansas.

Privilege: Harvard and the Education of the Ruling Class
I'm assuming that the headline on this post is a deliberate, yet subtle, jab at Huckabee's crypto-Confederate leanings. Good show. Although I suspect that social conservatism combined with economic populism is the (reasonably successful) future of the Republican party, I only hope that at least it won't be led by Confederate revanchists.
